Krystian Tkaczewski, born in 1980 in Tarnów, Poland, started his musical education at the Paderewski Music School in Tarnów in the class of J. Iwaneczko. He studied at the Chopin College in Warsaw (1995-2000) in the studios of G. Weiss and Dr. Pawel Skrzypek. In 2000 Krystian became a student of Olga Rusina at the Academy of Music in Wroclaw. Completing his program of studies a year ahead of time, he graduated in 2004 with a Master of Arts degree. Since 2005 Krystian has been a graduate student of the famous pianist Oxana Yablonskaya at the University of Hartford Hartt School as a Hartt Talent Award Holder.

Krystian Tkaczewski took part in many competitions and festivals around the world, including 1993 Regional Piano Competition in Tarnów (2nd prize) 1993 National Piano Competition in Warsaw (6th prize) 1994 European Piano Teachers Association Piano Competition in Cracow (3rd prize) 1998 International Music Competition in Ancona, Italy (5th place) 2000 Konzerteum Piano Competition in Athens, Greece (2nd prize) 2001 European Piano Competition in Bari, Italy (Grand Prize) 2001 Inter-fest Piano Competition in Bitola, Macedonia (1st prize) 2002 Nueva Acropolis Piano competition in Madrid (2nd Prize), 2002 International Piano Competition in Bologna (2nd prize) 2002 International Piano Competition in Morocco (finalist, and special prize for musical personality).

Krystian has concertized on three continents and 12 countries including Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic , Macedonia, Morocco, and the US. His 2002 American debut recital in Tucson at the Chopin Society of Arizona was received with standing ovation, as was most of his recitals. He perfected his art in collaboration with pianists as: A. Jasinski, R. Smendzianka, B. Hessse-Bukowska, J. Olejniczak, S. Poczekin, F. Gottlieb, P. Checinski, and played with the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Leopoldinum Orchestra, the Tarnów Chamber Orchestra, and the Wroclaw Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Z. Graca , M. Gawronski, K. Górski, and M. Kolaska.
Recipient of several scholarships and awards including the Chopin scholarship in 1995, the Wroclaw Music Academy Academic Scholarship for 2001-2004, the Polish Minister of Culture Scholarship in 2002, the City of Tarnów President’s Scholarship for 2001-2002, Musical Club of Hartford 's E.B. Storrs Scholarship the Polish Minister of Culture Creative Scholarship in 2005, and the Hartt Talent Award in 2005.

Krystian Tkaczewski is an active member of the Society of Polish Musical Artists SPAM since 2004 and board member of Chopin Society of Connecticut since 2006.

Brunilda Myftaraj was born in Albania and graduated from the conservatory of fine arts in Tirana. She studied with several professors in Europe and United States including Piero Farulli of the Quartetto Italiano, Alberto Lissy at the Yehudi Menuhin Academy, Phil Setzer and Eugene Drucker of the Emerson Quartet, Rafael Druian and Renato Bonacini.

Brunilda has performed extensively as a soloist and recitalist in Europe and around United States. She has appeared as soloist with many orchestras including Hartford Symphony. She is the winner of the Van Rooy competition and semifinalist and participant in very prestigious competitions such as the Young Artist Guild, Indianapolis International Violin Competition and the Lipizer Competition in Gorizia, Italy
Recently she has performed for the Piano and Friends Chamber Music series in Tucson Arizona and in a special concert for the Schubert club in Minneapolis.

Currently she is part of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and on the faculty of the Hartt School Community Division. Brunilda also maintains a private studio.
