Music and Dance School in the Heart of Connecticut
I want to inform you about a new Arts School initiative being established in New Britain. The initiative is a joined project of the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Children's Dance Theater Connections, and the Trinity on Main Performing Arts Center. Our faculty members are some of the best in the state and perform with organizations in and around the New England areas. We want to contribute to the community the talent of our musicians and dancers by creating an opportunity for your children to study with them in a beautiful and historical building of the Trinity-On-Main Arts center. Primarily, the school will offer individual instrumental instruction, group dance and music theory lessons. In addition we would like to expand our program by offering chamber music coaching, dance ensemble, orchestra and choir. Our goal is to enrich the lives through music and arts. The school is open to students of all ages, including adults. If you are a school teacher, please consider supporting us by forwarding this information to interested students and their parents. If you are interested in the program yourself please feel free to contact the Academy at (860) 612-4371. The new Connecticut Virtuosi Music Academy is located at the Trinity on Main Performing Arts Center at 19 Chestnut Street in New Britain. We also offer special dance, choreography, and theater workshops intended to provide our students a varied and rich dance experience. At CDTC We emphasize teamwork and “a Company spirit” over competition, we focus on training our dancers as dance/theater artists, students are offered a comprehensive training experience that often includes other art forms, we encourage parent involvement in productions and other Company activities, many of our performances have an outreach component in addition to being presented for family and friends and the general public.
